Alimseitova Zh.K. in 2002 graduated from the Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after O.A.Baikonurov of the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I.Satpayev. From 2002 to 2003 she worked as an engineer at the Institute of Mining named after D.A.Kunaev. In 2003 Alimseitova Zh.K. entered, and in 2006 graduated from full-time postgraduate studies at the Institute of Mining of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk, Russia). On May 25, 2007, she successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Geomechanical substantiation of the procedure for mining a suite of gently dipping deposits using a room-and-pillar development system (on the example of the Zhezkazgan field)” and was awarded the title of candidate of technical sciences
